Izuku Midoriya

Izuku Midoriya (緑谷 出久, Midoriya Izuku), also known by his hero name Deku, is the main protagonist of the My Hero Academia series. Born Quirkless in a superhuman society, he caught the attention of the legendary hero All Might due to his innate heroism and was chosen to inherit One For All.

Personality

Izuku is timid, reserved, and polite, but his spirit is undeniably heroic. He possesses an analytical mind, constantly muttering strategies and observations. Over time, he sheds his vulnerability, becoming a confident leader who inspires those around him with his unwavering determination to save everyone.

Abilities

• One For All: A transferable Quirk that stockpiles power and transfers it to others. It grants Izuku superhuman strength, speed, durability, and agility.
• Blackwhip: A stored Quirk allowing him to produce black tendrils for grappling and capturing.
• Float: Nana Shimura's Quirk, granting him flight capabilities.
• Danger Sense: Specifically alerts him to threats in his vicinity.

History

Initially a Quirkless nobody bullied for his dreams, everything changed when he rushed in to save his childhood friend Bakugo from a villain. This act of bravery moved All Might, leading to Izuku's enrollment at U.A. High School and his journey to becoming the greatest hero.
